Naxos Island has plenty of places with both local and international cuisine.
Kavouri Restaurant (picture on the left) is perfectly situated on Saint George Beach and it is an excellent place for both lunch and diner. You can have a lunch straight after the sea, or even place your order, leave your personal belongings on the table, straight in the sea and come back to enjoy your home made dish. Simple as that. Evenings are quiet and romantic that make diner a unique experience. The food and the service are excellent. Special dishes for kids are also available. Fresh fish is offered on daily basis. Specialities include kleftiko (lamb and vegetables wrapped in filo pastry), stuffed kalamari, stiffado and mousaka.

According to our opinion, Photo Dionysos at Naxos Town is the best photo centre in town. Print quality is excellent, and as a bonus for each film printed and developed you get a pocket photo album plus one photo enlargment (15cm x 21cm) for free. If you own a digital camera, you can make a print out of the pictures of your choice and you can also flush your photos on a CD. Digital and cameras and equipment are also available at prices competive to High Street shops. Plus thousands of daily use items, again at competitive prices.
