Plaka Beach in Naxos
Plaka is further south of Agia Anna and it is the longest beach on Naxos Island. The sand of the beach is very fine and white. It makes an excellent resort with lots of accommodation and it is home of numerous restaurants and cafes.
Plaka is great for swimming and sunbathing. There are quiet spots (south section of the beach) and busy spots with parasols and sun-loungers. Some of the restaurants will deliver snacks, food and drinks down to your loungers if you rent a chair and umbrella from them.
Marvellous long and wide beach with soft and very fine sand, crystal clear waters, gentle slope into the sea and plenty of accommodation, cafes and restaurants. Water sports are available.
